Headquartered in Mountrath, Co. Laois the business has a number of manufacturing sites across Ireland.

The Role
Due to exceptional growth, we now have a vacancy for a HGV Rigid Driver to join our Dublin Team. Based in Baldonnell Dublin 22, service Dublin and the greater areas. An excellent opportunity to join a progressive and dynamic company.

• Delivering and collecting timber pallets and other timber products throughout Dublin and great areas
• Ensuring all loads are transported in a safe and secure manner
• Completing daily workarounds and ensuring the optimum upkeep of the assigned vehicle
• Ensuring all paperwork is thoroughly completed, up-to-date and returned in a timely manner
• Assisting the Transport Planners with route planning as required and ensuring compliance with
• Ensuring tachograph records are up-to-date, compliant and available for inspection
• Reporting any issues with the truck or trailers to the Mechanics Team
• Reporting any delays or issues with deliveries to the Transport Planners and assisting with a timely
• Assisting with any RSA inspections
• Working alongside the Logistics Team to ensure the smooth and consistent running of the fleet
• Abiding and enforcing all health and safety protocols at CJS and customer’s locations
• Assisting with and promoting a continuous improvement culture with a strong commitment to
• quality customer service
• Attending and contributing to regular meetings as required
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• Full Clean Valid Driving Licence
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver Qualification Card & up-to-date CPC Modules
• Fluent English (Verbal & Written)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
• Good team player with strong customer service skills
• Immediate Start

Salary dependent on experience. Immediate start available.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €34,000.00 per year
