Excelcare at Lewes is seeking an RN Unit Manager that is a clinical leader who sets the tone for exceptional resident care. This role drives quality outcomes by leading and mentoring nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong clinical standards on the unit. The RN Unit Manager is hands-on, proactive, and deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for residents, families, and the care team.

RN Unit Manager Responsibilities:
Provides clinical oversight and accountability for the assigned unit
Ensures timely incident reporting, follow-up, and regulatory compliance
Oversees resident care to support optimal clinical and psychosocial outcomes
Communicates significant condition changes to physicians and families
Conducts daily rounds to ensure safety, infection control, and care standards
Provides hands-on clinical support, including medication administration as needed
RN Unit Manager Qualifications:
A valid RN license in the state of Delaware
Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in long term care
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
