Churchfield Home Services is seeking a Roof Insulation Operative to join our attic insulation team in the Mayo area.
You’ll play a vital role in making homes warmer, more energy-efficient, and comfortable — supporting Ireland’s transition to sustainable living, one attic at a time.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare attic spaces safely and efficiently before insulation installation
- Install insulation materials to SEAI standards and specifications
- Fit and seal insulation boards, rolls, and airtightness membranes as required
- Assist with attic flooring, ventilation, and access hatch preparation
- Ensure all materials and work meet quality, safety, and environmental requirements
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-organised work areas
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures (Safe Pass, PPE, RAMS)
- Represent Churchfield professionally in occupied homes and on-site
What You’ll Need
- 1–2 years’ experience in construction, insulation, or retrofit works desirable
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
- Working at Heights certification desirable
- Full clean driving licence preferred
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills
Pay & Benefits
- €18–€21 per hour, depending on experience (weekly pay)
- Pension (CWPS) – includes Income Protection + €150,000 Death-in-Service
- Annual Leave: 20 days + 10 public holidays
- Meal Allowance: €5/day
