Churchfield Home Services is seeking a Roof Insulation Supervisor to lead attic insulation works as part of our attic insulation team in the Mayo area.
You’ll oversee and carry out high-quality roof and attic insulation installations in domestic homes — helping homeowners make their homes warmer, more efficient, and less dependent on fossil fuels in line with SEAI standards.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and carry out attic and roof insulation installations in domestic retrofit projects
• Ensure all work meets SEAI technical requirements, specifications, and quality standards
• Lead and support site teams to complete insulation works safely and efficiently
• Inspect and prepare attic spaces, ensuring correct ventilation, airtightness, and fire safety measures are in place
• Carry out carpentry work, including attic hatches, flooring adjustments, and access installations
• Complete detailed site documentation and quality checklists using company systems
• Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant work environment in line with RAMS and Health & Safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with customers, assessors, and management to ensure smooth project delivery

What You'll Need

• Fully qualified Carpenter (National Craft Certificate or equivalent)
• 2–3 years’ experience in domestic insulation, retrofit, or general carpentry supervision
• Strong knowledge of attic insulation, ventilation, and airtightness systems
• Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and Working at Heights certification
• Full clean driving licence
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
• Ability to lead a team and ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
• SEAI attic insulation experience or technical training desirable

Pay & Benefits

• €23–€27 per hour, depending on experience (weekly pay)
• Pension (CWPS) – includes Income Protection + €150,000 Death-in-Service
• Annual Leave: 20 days + 10 public holidays
