Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Rope Access Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of rigging and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in various tools and equipment. This role involves performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs in challenging environments, primarily utilizing rope access techniques. The successful candidate will demonstrate safety awareness and technical proficiency while working at heights.
Responsibilities
- Execute rope access techniques to perform maintenance and inspection tasks on structures and equipment.
- Utilize rigging skills to safely secure loads and ensure safe working conditions.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as required for specific tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any issues encountered and solutions implemented.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience in rope access work or related fields is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and practices.
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques.
- Previous experience in the oil & gas industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.63-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
