Sales And Marketing Manager

Our company was established in 2008 in Brisbane and has since been operating very successfully in importing and wholesaling Asian groceries. We distribute our products throughout Australia. As our company is currently expanding, we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team.

THE POSITION

We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated person to lead our team and help grow our businesses to the next level.

You will work very closely with our Managing Director to formulate, recommend, and implement policies and programs in the areas of sales, pricing and market research. You will have full responsibility to manage an internal team. You are able to coordinate marketing campaigns and identify market opportunities for new and existing products in order to ensure that every aspect of the specification of our buyers can be met based on the company’s cost and budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implement marketing strategies/plans nationwide to achieve income growth
  • Identifying opportunities that have high potential for conversion into new customers
  • Implementing pricing strategies
  • Managing budgets and overseeing internal operating budgets
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Co-ordinating and developing marketing campaigns
  • Contributing to internal reports (KPIs, etc.)
  • Responding to marketing queries via phone, emails or social media
  • Overseeing marketing activity and ensuring it fits into the marketing strategy
  • Stimulating the current customer base, as well as establishing relationships with new customers
  • Assisting with product development, pricing and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities

To be successful you will need:

To be successful in this role, you will be someone who has previous experience in a similar role. You will need to have exceptional communication skills on all levels, and have a strong work ethic which allows you to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

You must:

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Business and Marketing or a related field
  • Have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales and marketing
  • Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
  • Be fluent in English. Fluency in other languages such as Mandarin will be an advantage.
  • Be experienced in data analysis, financial costing and reporting
  • Have exceptional understanding of sales and marketing in both traditional and digital segments
  • Be able to work under pressure and have the ability to meet targets and specific marketing goals
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and coordinate cross teams with ease
  • Be capable of working effectively with minimal direction and supervision
  • Have the ability to motivate teams to produce quality services within tight timeframes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Sales and marketing: 4 years (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
