Sidca Trading has been in operations since 2008 and is a leading distributor of building materials throughout Canada and Western USA. Sidca operates out of its office located in Coquitlam B.C. and utilizes numerous facilities to remanufacture, treat and dry their products prior to distribution from one of their various reload facilities in Canada and the USA. Sidca's small organizational structure will allow the successful candidate to immerse themselves in all aspect of the business, providing them the opportunity to work with an energetic team of individuals.

Job Description:

· Participate and complete in-house training program.

· Develop and maintain lumber/plywood/building materials industry knowledge.

· Support sale's staff with the entry of purchase orders, work orders, transfer orders and freight orders into the company's inventory management software.

· Support sales with the completion and submission of customs/border paper work through the applicable portals. Communicate directly with the company's border brokers to ensure accuracy and all required paper work is submitted and approved prior to the shipment.

· Support admin staff by reviewing freight invoices to freight orders to ensure accuracy. Process freight invoice in the system for payment approval.

· Assist with arranging freight and complete follows up to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.

· Communicating/follow up with sales representative, suppliers, service providers, and customers.

· Answering incoming phone calls.

· Comply with company policies.

· Help maintain a safe orderly environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Experience:

• Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
