Job Summary
The Sales Trainee will support the sales team in generating leads, communicating with customers, conducting site visits, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role offers hands-on training in industrial B2B sales, focusing on products such as industrial pumps, valves, and compressors.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads through visits, calls and online research.
- Conduct basic discussions with potential customers to understand their requirements.
- Assist in preparing and following up on quotations.
- Visit customer sites for technical understanding, inspections, or coordination.
- Maintain and update the customer database with records of communication and follow-ups.
- Build and sustain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the service and technical teams for smooth execution of orders.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- I.Sc / B.Sc / ITI / Diploma (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- 0–1 year of experience in B2B industrial sales (pumps, valves, compressors, or related products).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of industrial equipment and applications.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
- Self-motivated with a learning attitude and team spirit.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
