Responsibilities
- Accurately package products using appropriate materials, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble and prepare shipments efficiently.
- Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred) to move inventory safely within the facility.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping labels and packing slips before dispatch.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing stations to promote safety and productivity.
- Follow all FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety protocols during packaging processes.
- Assist in inventory management by logging shipments and updating warehouse records accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals during peak seasonal periods.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, including proper handling of materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of packaging techniques and best practices for shipping delicate or sensitive items.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
This position is part time for a 2 week training period and full time through the end of the season. The schedule required for this job is Monday-Friday 9AM-4PM. Hours will be shortened during the 2 week training period. Prior experience is not necessary, we will train, however, precision and attention to detail is the most sought after skill for applicants to have. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods, be comfortable in freezer environments, walking, and climbing stairs. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and vehicle. We are looking to hire someone in the next 2 weeks.
This is a seasonal position, employment period will end on December 31st, 2025. However, at the time the contract is up, discussions can be had about continuing employment.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
