Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and enforce safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
• Utilize CCTV systems to observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Experience:

• Valid Security Guard Licence (Required)
• Must have one year security guard experience
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is a plus
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and practices is advantageous
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective reporting and interaction with clients

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
