Description of the role: We’re seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Technology industry division. In this role, you will act as a trusted adviser to innovative technology businesses, providing strategic advisory, VCFO and compliance support. You will partner directly with founders and leadership teams to drive meaningful commercial outcomes.

What your day might look like:
  • Lead a portfolio of technology-focused clients, acting as a trusted adviser on financial, operational and strategic matters
  • Advise clients on tax strategies, business growth opportunities and structuring, ensuring outcomes are commercially sound and compliant.
  • Managing the lodgement of all tax returns, BAS, IAS and other statutory obligations to ensure deadlines are always met.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of management reports, statutory accounts and compliance obligations, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery
  • Perform Virtual CFO (VCFO) services including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, KPI reporting and strategic business planning
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to add value and provide strategic insights
  • Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance, reviewing work and supporting ongoing professional development
  • Collaborate closely with advisory, tax and specialist teams to deliver tailored, integrated client solutions
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building within the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with Australian accounting standards, legislative requirements, professional standards and internal quality controls
