We are opening our doors for a strong Senior Accountant in our Business Advisory division, who is eager to develop their advisory skills across a range of services and industries! You'll build rapport with privately owned businesses, HNW individuals & family groups, ASX-listed companies, NFPs and international businesses, leveraging our incredible Global network.

- Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and annual compliance documentation for a diverse range of entity types, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely lodgement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a key point of contact, including participation in face-to-face advisory meetings alongside senior team leaders
- Prepare, organise and maintain high-quality working papers, including indexing and supporting documentation, while reviewing general ledger transactions and financial records
- Deliver taxation compliance support, including BAS preparation, FBT obligations, tax research, tax planning implementation, and drafting correspondence for clients and the ATO
- Support business advisory engagements through the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, profit forecasts, management reports, and recommendations for business improvement opportunities
- Respond to client enquiries in a professional and timely manner, providing clear and accurate information while escalating complex matters to senior team members when required
- Full CPA/CA membership (or near completion)
- 3+ years' experience working as a public practice accountant (in business services or business advisory)
- Previous exposure to larger client groups and sophisticated business structures with multiple entities and technical complexity (preferable)
- Experience using Xero, MYOB AE and QuickBooks
- Knowledge and exposure to a range of technical accounting/tax issues (BAS, FBT, payroll tax, Div7a, QBCC reporting, etc.)
- Strong organisational skills, and ability to build meaningful relationships with clients and the team
