Senior Accounts Administrator - Queenstown
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Administrator to join our Finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, accounts payable management, and financial reporting. You will work closely with the Head of Finance to deliver high-quality financial and administrative services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for New Zealand and Australia.
- Handle accounts payable, including transaction entry, supplier account reconciliation, and payment processing.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and provide updates on cash flow requirements.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax, superannuation, and other statutory payments.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with legal obligations.
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers, addressing queries promptly.
- Assist with month-end processes and ad hoc reporting.
Key Relationships:
- Internal: Leadership team, Finance team, Operations, all employees.
- External: Candidates (doctors), Clients (Hospitals, Clinics, Practices) Suppliers and IRD.
Skills and Competencies:
- Precise and detail-oriented.
- Strong understanding of finance and business.
- Proficient in numerical analysis and organised.
- Takes initiative and has strong analytical skills.
- Experience with accounting software systems and Microsoft Word and Excel.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum NCEA Level 3 required.
- Diploma in accounting or business advantageous.
- Three years of experience in an Accounts Administrator role.
- Good understanding of finance and invoicing systems.
