As a Senior Bar Person, you'll be at the forefront of delivering top-quality service in both our bar and restaurant areas, while also playing a vital role during weddings and events. You’ll help lead shifts, support junior team members, and ensure every guest feels welcome—whether they’re dropping in for a pint, enjoying a meal, or celebrating a special day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding service across bar, restaurant, and event settings
• Lead bar operations during shifts, ensuring a smooth and professional service
• Mentor junior bar staff and foster a positive team environment
• Manage cash, stock levels, and bar cleanliness
• Liaise with kitchen and floor teams to ensure seamless service
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards
• Support setup and service for weddings and private events
• Represent the spirit and hospitality of O' Donohues Pub to every guest

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ bar or hospitality experience, with some supervisory or senior-level experience preferred
• Knowledge of beer, spirits, wines, and cocktails
• Friendly, confident, and customer-focused approach
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in a busy, high-energy environment
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and events as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour
