Senior Chef de Partie

Granville’s Bar & Grill – Macroom, Co. Cork

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Granville’s Bar & Grill, a busy neighbourhood restaurant located in the heart of Macroom Town.

We specialise in steak, seafood and quality, locally sourced produce, alongside a varied menu of modern favourites and daily specials.

With Macroom just a 20-minute drive from Ballincollig and Killarney, we offer an excellent commuting option for chefs looking to work in a busy, quality-driven kitchen without the longer city commute.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie role
• Excellent culinary knowledge and a genuine passion for food
• The ability to work independently and use their own initiative
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude
• The ability to remain calm and efficient while working under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of food presentation
• A creative approach to food and a willingness to contribute ideas

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Head Chef, your responsibilities will include:

• Helping to oversee and monitor all kitchen areas, ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen
• Assisting with food ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation
• Maintaining the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness and hygiene
• Assisting the Head Chef with the development of local and seasonal specials
• Helping with recipe costing and the creation and standardisation of SOPs
• Ensuring every dish leaving the kitchen is of the highest possible standard
• Maintaining consistency in the preparation, portioning and presentation of all menu items
• Supporting and training members of the culinary team
• Helping to maintain a positive, professional and efficient kitchen environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €34,000.00-€36,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Macroom, County Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Chef: 2 years (preferred)

Language:

• English fluently (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• work permit (preferred)
