Full-time Cooks

Sorganic Cottesloe artisan bakery and cafe is located on Napoleon Street in Cottesloe WA. Our cafe specialises in the preparation and serving to our customers a big range menu which include organic food, fresh bread, and high-quality coffee. We are currently seeking full-time Cooks to join our kitchen team.

The duties to be carried out include:

• The preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes from the cafe’s menu as per the customers’ orders.

· Ensured that all cooked dishes are standardised and presented in a neat and appetizing manner, ensuring consistency and quality.

· Assist to create delicious menu items that cater to a diverse range of tastes and dietary preferences.

· Maintain a clean and safe, organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

· Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure efficient operations and timely service.

· Regularly checked all food items to ensure adequacy and quality at all times.

· Assist in recording inventory and keep records of ingredients used.

· Inspect the work of other junior cooks to prevent food wastage.

· Assist in ensuring correct procedures of stock rotation are used in the kitchen.

Requirements:

● Possess at least 12 months of relevant employment experience as a Cook in a similar busy commercial kitchen environment

● Possess at least the equivalent of an Australian Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar

● The successful candidate is expected to be familiar with Australian/Vietnamese fusion cuisine

● Possess the ability to work under pressure

● Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays if required

Offered salary: $77,200 per annum plus Superannuation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,200.00 – $80,000.00 per year
