Senior Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for our International Headquarters in Luxembourg.

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, skilled individual as Senior Legal Counsel for our Group’s Legal & Compliance Department. In this role, you will directly report to the Director Legal.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Providing advice on a broad range of legal matters to various departments in relation to the PM Group’s business, including commercial, corporate, intellectual property, competition and regulatory matters
• Collaborating with internal legal and compliance professionals
• Draft, negotiate and review general terms of business, commercial agreements and other types of contracts
• Drafting of corporate policies (together with compliance)
• Monitoring of relevant case law and legal developments
• Follow-up and implementation of local legal requirements
• Creation and maintenance of contract models (commercial contracts, NDAs, etc.)
• Training of employees on legal topics
• Upkeeping of a contract management software
• Liaising with external law firms and consultants
• Upholding strong corporate governance standards and supporting statutory corporate adjustments
• Promptly identifying and addressing legal risks and concerns
Supporting in disputes and fostering effective collaboration with departments

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

• Holder of a Master’s degree in law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (any other language being an advantage)
• 6+ years of experience as an inhouse legal counsel in a commercial environment
• Intellectually curious and eager to learn
• Strong analytical capacity
• Good interpersonal skills, curious, proactive, positive and open-minded
• Detail-oriented, result-oriented and entrepreneurial
• Hands-on mentality, versatile, teamwork-oriented
• Self-starter, able to work without constant supervision
Strong knowledge of the Office suite and all digital tools
