Job Description:
Are you a strategic thinker with a consultative mindset and a natural curiosity for uncovering the most effective approaches to digital media planning and buying? At dentsu Finland, we’re looking for a Senior Media Specialist, Digital to join our diverse and agile digital specialist team in our Media practice.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping digital media strategies, mentoring junior colleagues, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. At dentsu, you’ll collaborate with some of the industry's leading advertisers—both local and global—engage in forward-looking digital development initiatives, and work across teams to deliver meaningful media outcomes.

About the role:
As a Senior Media Specialist, Digital, you’ll lead and act as a trusted advisor across the whole life cycle of digital advertising campaigns across programmatic, direct and social platforms. You’ll take ownership of dedicated accounts and act as a strategic and senior consultant—guiding clients and internal stakeholders toward impactful, data-informed decisions.
Your seniority will be reflected in your ability to proactively identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, and bring fresh perspectives to digital media planning. Your curiosity will drive you to explore new technologies and trends, while your consultative approach will help clients uncover strategic solutions and long-term growth.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end management of programmatic, direct, and social media campaigns—from setup to performance analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct strategic audits and reviews, translating insights into optimization plans and forward-looking recommendations.
  • Provide consultative support during weekly client interactions, offering tailored guidance and fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Stay curious and informed about industry developments, proactively sharing relevant trends and innovations with clients, colleagues and within other external channels.
  • Build collaborative partnerships across client services and with clients, positioning yourself as a go-to expert and strategic partner.
  • Contribute and take part to the development of best practices and mentor junior team members, supporting their growth and development.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Has at least three to four years of experience in digital advertising (including programmatic and paid social), ideally with exposure to strategic planning and client advisory.
  • Is proficient in platforms like DV360, Adform, and Meta, with additional platform experience considered a bonus.
  • Is comfortable working with data and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has a strong learning mindset and a natural curiosity to explore new ideas and approaches.
  • Is service-oriented and thrives on helping clients succeed through thoughtful consultation.
  • Demonstrates proactivity and adaptability, paired with a curious and tenacious approach to problem-solving.
  • You are fluent in Finnish and English

You’ll be joining a team of specialists with diverse interests and expertise, working independently yet collaboratively. We’ll provide full onboarding and ongoing training to support your growth and success.
