Senior Product Manager (12- Month Fixed Term)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and management of our deposit products.

About the role:

The Senior Product Manager reports to the General Manager Products & Deposits and oversees and manages the current suite of deposit products across both the Rabobank Online Savings and Country Banking channels,. You will formulate product plans and collaborate to drive growth of deposits and customers.

The role manages the relationships we have with external financial intermediaries that place deposits with Rabobank and is also responsible for key large deposit only customers.

This is a 12-month fixed term position.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Proactively manage products across the end-to-end product lifecycle. Ensure products are competitively positioned
• Driving balance growth and managing product margins including making pricing recommendations
• Maintain and monitor product performance across product rules, processes, and control activities.
• Work with IT product owners to deliver customer experience changes and enhancements for our deposits customers
• Management of one direct report. Provide support, direction, and the coaching they need to achieve their objectives.
• Risk ownership of deposit products. Lead an ongoing programme of work to ensure the division meet internal and external obligations
• Monitor and research market trends and sales potential to identify product development opportunities
• Co-development and review of business cases, marketing, finance and operations locally and globally

What We're Looking For:

• 8-10 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of banking and financial services.
• Ability to identify strategic opportunities, analyse trends, and develop innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of online banking channels.
• Excellent numerical, written, verbal communication skills
• Be part of a global team with stakeholders in New Zealand, Australia, and the Netherlands.
