About The Position
Location: Port Augusta or Port Pirie
Status: Full Time
Classification and Rate: SCHADS Level 7, $63.13 per hour
Closing Date for Applications: 9th August 2026
As a Senior Service Manager, you will lead and support teams to deliver high-quality, client-centred services that are responsive to community needs and aligned with Uniting Country SA's values, practice frameworks, contractual requirements and legislative obligations.
You will oversee program planning, budgets, reporting, quality improvement and service delivery outcomes, while building strong relationships with staff, funders, community partners and other stakeholders.
This is an opportunity for a strategic, solution-focused and values-driven leader to make a meaningful impact across regional communities.

Skills and Experiences:
You will:
- Shape and strengthen services that respond to local community needs.
- Guide teams through change, growth and continuous improvement.
- Turn service data, feedback and reporting into practical improvements.
- Champion safe, inclusive and culturally respectful practice across programs.
- Represent Uniting Country SA in partnerships, networks and community forums.
- Demonstrated experience leading and supporting teams in a human services or community services environment.
- Strong program and budget management skills, including resource planning, monitoring and reporting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

It is desirable for you to have:
- Diploma or higher in a relevant discipline and/or five years relevant experience leading a team and holding direct budget responsibility.
