Job Responsibilities

• Manage overall store and warehouse operations, including material receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
• Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue slips, stock registers, and inventory reports.
• Ensure optimum inventory levels and timely material availability for production requirements.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement FIFO and ensure proper material identification, labelling, and traceability.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Accounts, and other departments.
• Monitor material consumption, stock movement, slow-moving stock, and material wastage.
• Manage stock audits and maintain accurate inventory documentation.
• Supervise store personnel and ensure proper work allocation and discipline.
• Ensure systematic storage, housekeeping, and safety standards.
• Operate Busy/inventory management software and maintain records using MS Excel.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and inventory reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, storage efficiency, and cost control.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management.
• Experience in manufacturing industry store operations.
• Knowledge of GRN, FIFO, stock reconciliation, and material handling.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Busy/inventory management systems.
• Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage stock audits and a store team independently.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from flexible packaging, plastic manufacturing, packaging materials, or related manufacturing industries will be preferred.
