Job Description


The Sustainability Manager is responsible for develop, implement and manage environmental plans for the Programme. This role is crucial in implementing and managing the Environmental & Sustainability systems.

The role holder will ensure they meet environmental requirements and project specifications. This position requires a collaborative approach, to foster a safety-first culture and promote sustainability, minimising environmental impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement plans to minimize environmental and social impact
  • Coordinate with workstreams to review sustainability plans
  • Set carbon reduction targets and manage waste disposal
  • Conduct life cycle assessments and publish findings
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in developing environmental plans
  • Proven track record of managing environmental and sustainability plans ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret environmental data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with the project.
