Luxembourg-based M7 Group, owned by global content powerhouse CANAL+ Group, is a leading European provider of video content throughout 9 European markets, including the Benelux, the DACH region and various CEE markets. Building upon a solid base of circa 3 million DTH, IPTV and OTT pay-tv customers, M7 is enhancing its premium content offering for the various markets. Starting in Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia, the premium content proposition consists of a mix of linear channels and local streaming platforms, all under the CANAL+ brand. A major part of the premium content offering is derived from the CANAL+ library of series and films, where relevant combined with live sports and third-party content. Furthermore, M7 is engaged in its own local content production, in close conjunction with sister company and major content creator STUDIOCANAL.


The complete video offering for the various M7 markets is available via state-of-the-art hybrid DTH/OTT reception devices, as well via localized TV apps, allowing for an easy and seamless content consumption via any screen, any place and at any time.


Role Overview:
We are seeking a technically savvy intern to assist with SEO tasks and UX testing. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital marketing, web development or a related field, with strong technical skills and a passion for optimising websites to achieve exceptional search performance and user experiences. This role requires a mix of creative content skills (texts, images) and an understanding of web development techniques.


Key Responsibilities

  • SEO Optimisation:
    • Conduct on-page and off-page SEO audits using tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
    • Perform keyword research, analyse trends, and identify opportunities for optimisation.
    • Optimise website content (texts, images, videos) to improve search rankings and organic visibility.
    • Implement SEO techniques to align with Google’s Core Web Vitals, including load times, interactivity, and visual stability.
    • Track and monitor SEO performance via Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console, producing actionable reports.

  • Technical SEO & Web Development:
    • Address technical SEO issues such as crawling errors, duplicate content, or broken links.
    • Use tools like Screaming Frog and Lightbulb to identify and resolve technical web issues.
    • Collaborate with developers to optimise HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for SEO and Core Web Vitals performance.
    • Ensure proper website structure, schema markup, and metadata for improved indexing and search appearance.

  • UX Research & Testing:
    • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing using VWO to improve user experiences and conversion rates.
    • Assist in user behaviour analysis using tools like Hotjar and Google Analytics.
    • Identify opportunities for improving page layout, navigation, and usability based on UX principles.
    • Test and evaluate website performance, focusing on responsiveness, accessibility, and page speed.

  • Content & Creative Support:
    • Optimise website images and multimedia assets for SEO and faster load speeds.
    • Assist with creating SEO-friendly content for landing pages, blogs, and metadata.
    • Work on UX copy that aligns with user intent and enhances clarity and engagement.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Analyse SEO and UX performance metrics and report findings to stakeholders.
    • Support monthly reporting processes, presenting insights and opportunities for growth.
    • Track ranking improvements, web performance changes, and A/B test results.

Skills and Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or current studies) in Digital Marketing, Web Development, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiar with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Bing Webmaster Tools and Lightbulb.
    • Basic knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
    • Understanding of website performance metrics and Google’s Core Web Vitals.
    • Experience or familiarity with A/B testing tools like VWO.

  • Content & Creative Skills:
    • Strong writing skills for SEO-optimised text.
    • Ability to edit and optimise images for web performance.

  • Analytical Skills:
    • Comfortable with analysing data and generating actionable insights.
    • Experience with tools like Google Analytics and VWO is a plus.
