With growth comes new job opportunities, Gyro Auto Group is looking for passionate people who are looking to grow with a busy service team.

We are seeking a Customer Experience Advocate to provide exceptional service by working closely with our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting customers, conducting a vehicle walk-around, preparing service estimates, handling administrative tasks, and documenting all communications. We’ve enhanced our service process by incorporating video documentation of every vehicle in service, allowing for added transparency with our customers. This improvement also creates the opportunity for Customer Experience Advocates to earn up to an additional $13 per hour through our bonus program.

The Customer Experience Advocate plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and the efficiency of the dealership’s service department. Their success depends on excellent communication skills, technical knowledge, and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Greet and Assist Customers: Welcome customers arriving at the service department, listen to their concerns, and gather details about vehicle issues or service requests.
  • Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis - Conduct Preliminary Vehicle Inspections: Collaborate with customers to perform a walk-around of the vehicle, noting any visible issues.
  • Communicate Vehicle Conditions: Work closely with technicians to relay the customer’s vehicle problems and provide accurate diagnostic feedback.
  • Provide Service and Repair Estimates - Present estimates for parts, labor, and any additional services, ensuring transparency with customers.
  • Authorize Repairs: Obtain customer approval for recommended services, repairs, and costs before proceeding.
  • Communication: Keep customers informed on the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process, including any delays or changes to the cost or repair time.
  • Explain Repairs: Once the vehicle is ready, explain the work performed, parts replaced, and the final bill.
  • Maintain Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of service transactions, repair orders, and customer vehicle history.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with mechanics and service technicians to communicate the customer’s vehicle problems and ensure the work is carried out efficiently.

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour plus up to an additional $13/per hour on bonus
