Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, with the ability to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Perform pipe threading and welding as needed for various installations.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Conduct remodeling projects that involve plumbing adjustments or installations.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations during all work performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing work.
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred for transporting tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
