Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented <PERSON> to join our team as a Maintenance and Construction Specialist. This role involves performing a variety of technical tasks related to building, repairing, and maintaining facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with tools and systems such as HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and physical endurance. Candidates should be prepared for heavy lifting and working with power tools in a fast-paced environment dedicated to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and structural components
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction or repair tasks
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively to assemble or repair equipment and structures
• Conduct inspections to identify issues requiring maintenance or replacement
• Assist with construction projects including framing, carpentry, and assembly of mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems using schematics and technical manuals
• Perform heavy lifting of materials or equipment as needed for project completion
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience with mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, welding, or general maintenance
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to read technical drawings including schematics for electrical or mechanical systems
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and work in physically demanding environments
• Experience with construction projects or assembly work is preferred
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy machinery, welding, electrical work, and working at heights
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$46.00 per hour
