About the Company: Founded in 1982, Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions is the world’s leading supplier of real time contamination monitoring systems and airborne particle counters. Lighthouse offers the most complete line of contamination monitoring solutions available that include Airborne Particle Counters, Microbial Samplers, and Liquid Particle Counters, as well as Temperature / Humidity sensors. Recently added production of air purification products, manufacturing of personal protective equipment. These solutions are now found in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data storage, biotechnology, aerospace, and defense industry plants worldwide.

Job Summary: This position is responsible for providing factory and onsite field service to customers, tracking and correcting customer related issues, and communicating all service issues to management in a timely and effective manner.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First.”
  • For all on-site positions, must show up to work to perform job duties.
  • Consistent with calibrating, troubleshooting, and performs complex repairs on instruments based on date received and expedite status as determined by management direction.
  • Communicates instrument service issues to management in a timely and effective manner.
  • Completes, maintains, and processes pertinent paperwork and records.
  • Advises upper management on product development issues arising from product problems identified through servicing instruments and occasional technical support calls with customers.
  • Recommends or performs minor remedial actions to correct problems.
  • Uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Meets productivity standards.
  • Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
  • Completes projects correctly, on time and within budget.
  • Supports organization’s goals and values.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Get along with others, not creating a hostile work environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to work with and as a Team.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds and 41+ pounds as a two-person lift.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Travel: 35%-40% to other LWS offices and customer sites.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Moderate in Microsoft Office Suite, related software and computers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, managers, and personnel from various departments.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with PLC cabinets preferred.
  • Valid drivers license.

Pay: €55,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
