Chucks Roadhouse Bar & Grill is looking for a Supervisor who helps us Run and assist Brockville Location
Reporting to the Franchise Owner and Area Manager, the AGM and will ensure that all Chucks Roadhouse guests are provided with the best experience possible and all day-to-day responsibilities are conducted in a professional manner.
- Create, lead and manage a positive and fun restaurant culture.
- Must be hands on cleaning and maintenence for weekly headoffice requiements and audits to be complted in a timly fashion.
- Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.
- Lead, implement, and manage all aspects of human resources, recruitment and selection, coaching, training, performance management, recognition, succession planning, and development.
- Lead, manage, and deliver a friendly Perfect Guest Experience: dine-in, take-out, and delivery.
- Develop and manage the business plan: focus on standards, safety, sales, cost and personnel.
- Ensure the restaurant runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis and meets all policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant and sports bar.
- Lead local store marketing and community involvement, plans and execution.
- Effectively oversee controllable costs: food, beverage, labor , and quality control promo line.
- Monitor and manage fixed costs: continually research and evaluate to minimize costs and optimize efficiencies.
- Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are in place and followed.
- Establish and maintain appropriate security protocols for guests, employees, and restaurant safety.
- Recruit, train and supervise the team .
- Effectively run both FOH and BOH and lead all shifts
- Manage food quality / standards and inventory control
- Follow the Chuck's Roadhouse Bar and Grill policies / guideline and procedures .
- Manage a team of front of house staff including scheduling, training, general supervision and labor control.
- Oversee that all opening and closing duties of the restaurant are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained.
- Responsible for correct operation of the POS system.
- Balancing of all daily and nightly cash drawers and POS.
- Inventory and maintenance of all food and non food items , beer, liquor and bar supplies.
- Providing excellent customer service to guests and excellent leadership to employees.
- Exceptional relationship building and communication skills with guests
- Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines.
- Work closely with all management to provide a seamless experience.
- Other duties as required and assign.
- Maintain and be able to conduct small handy repairs / technical support
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
- Complete reports / scans / and daily paper work on timely basis.
- Audit discount/voids/ Manager promos with sales and email updates
- Other duties as required and assigned.
- Qualification Requirements
- 2+ years of progressive management experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Proven leadership skills, a proactive personality and the ability to follow through.
- Knowledge of computers: Microsoft Office Applications, Point of Sale system.
- Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, record keeping, and preparation of reports.
- Must be able to work flexible hours during evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Strong analytical/decision-making skills.
- Leadership skills - able to direct, coach, build and supervise a team.
- Strong business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs.
- Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications including word and excel.
- High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Customer service skills - able to exceed guest expectations
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- You must be able to perform efficiently during high-volume peak periods.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Smart Serve.
- Food Handler certificate.
Knowledge of surrounding area and able to drive around
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
