Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily activities of the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring smooth operations.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency.
• Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise productivity.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of operation.
• Assist in training new staff members in food production, service procedures, and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation effectively.
• Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management to develop menus or service offerings aligned with brand standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace that adheres to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
• Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
• Experience in managing restaurant or kitchen operations is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards team management and customer service.
• Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous but not essential.
