Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of shipping and receiving operations, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Precision Design and Manufacturing operates a number of brands/businesses through this location. As such, a qualified candidate should have experience with high volumes of shipments with varying shipment options.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all packages are accurately logged and tracked.
Operate forklifts and reach trucks to load and unload materials safely.
Utilize Sage300 software for inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
Perform order picking tasks to prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy in packaging.
Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area to promote safety and efficiency.
Conduct basic math calculations to verify quantities and weights of shipments.
Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping processes and improve overall efficiency.
Assist with e-commerce order fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

Experience

Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar equipment is advantageous.
Basic math skills are essential for verifying shipment details and handling inventory counts.
Knowledge of order picking processes and e-commerce logistics will be beneficial.

Pay: $16.65-$25.30 per hour
