Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and package products for shipment using appropriate materials and techniques, including wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move inventory safely and efficiently.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and ensure accurate order picking and packing.
• Manage shipping & receiving processes by verifying orders against packing lists, processing bills of lading, and coordinating with carriers for pickup schedules.
• Conduct stock replenishment activities like stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and maintaining organized pallets for easy access.
• Assist with order fulfillment by picking items using RF scanners or manual methods based on MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to meet customer deadlines.
• Support warehouse distribution efforts by loading trucks accurately while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
• Maintain detailed records of shipments, inventory movements, and discrepancies using AS400 or other warehouse management software.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and inventory management.
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar ERP systems for tracking inventory.
• Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including load & unload procedures.
• Basic math skills for counting items accurately and calculating weights or measurements as needed.
• Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
