Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely with various departments to ensure accurate and on-time shipments
- Enters shipment data in computer, ensuring documents are distributed as required.
- Prepares bills of lading and any other necessary paperwork needed for shipments.
- Serves as back up to Receiving as needed.
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition, following safety regulations.
- Responsible for Finished Goods cycle counting.
- Other duties and tasks as needed.
Position Complexities and Conditions of Employment
- Must be willing to work based on manufacturing schedule
- Must have excellent attendance record
- Must be accountable for own actions and not be afraid to ask questions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one-year hands-on shipping experience.
- Hands-on experience using shipping software (UPS, FedEx, etc...)
- Computer proficiency and experience with MS Office applications necessary.
- Ability to accurately perform basic math skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
