Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Shop and Café Assistant. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service in our retail shop and café, ensuring an enjoyable experience for our visitors. You will assist with a variety of tasks, including serving food and drinks, stocking shelves, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

**Key ResponseCustomer Service:

• Welcome customers with a friendly attitude and provide assistance as needed.
• Respond to customer queries about products, menu items, and services.
• Handle customer feedback or concerns professionally and escalate if necessary.

Shop Duties:

• Restock shelves, displays, and storage areas with products.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide information on items.
• Operate the till and handle cash, card, and other payment methods accurately.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop environment.

**Cafe Duties:

• Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring high quality and presentation.
• Take and process orders quickly and efficiently.
• Follow health and safety regulations for food handling and hygiene.
• Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain cleanliness in the café area.

General Duties:

• Help with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and organizing the premises.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the manager of any shortages or issues.
• Assist with deliveries and unpacking stock as required.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and stock checks.
• Experience in a retail or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.

Working Hours:

This role may include part-time or full-time hours, with flexibility required to meet business needs.
