Lonnie's Autobody is looking for a shop hand and or 1st year apprentice to join our team!

We are a locally/ Family owned business that has had a strong presence in Grande Prairie and the surrounding region since 1980. We are a smaller but very busy shop with a crew of long term team members, and we are looking to add another member to keep up with continuous client growth.

Responsibilities:

- Pre wash and Detail vehicles

- Empty garbage's and keep shop tidy

- Assist technicians with tasks

- Receive and put away parts

-Bring parts to technicians

- Learn how to and perform light auto body repairs and restoration on vehicles
- Learn how to and repair and replace damaged parts, panels, and components
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy

Skills:

-Interest in learning
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

As an Auto Body Apprentice , you would be learning to perform a variety of auto body repair tasks included but no limited to repair& replace damaged parts, straighten frames, prime repair areas.

Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring the quality of your work. Additionally, you will need to have good problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and find effective solutions. Strong communication skills are also important as you may need to collaborate with other team members.

• Entry level, Experience in autobody or other automotive industry would be considered an asset.
