Showroom Sales Associate

Previous experience with countertops / construction / renovation is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers upon entry to the showroom

Assist in selecting products which are best suited to the needs of each individual customer

Prepare quotes for customers upon completion of design consultation including discussion of warranties, basic care and maintenance of stone surfaces, etc.

Follow-up with prospective customers to secure sales

Assist with maintaining accurate pricing details in the system

Recommend new products which should be brought in to showroom and assist with organizing displays, etc.

Regularly check and verify inventory levels to ensure that in-stock items are available to customers

Answer incoming customer phone calls, provide information where needed or take and relay messages to other employees

Expedite the resolution of any customer issues or complaints

Assist Project Coordinator and General Manager with any special projects as required

Requirements:

Must be able to work retail hours including Saturdays

Exceptional customer service, communication, problem-solving and people skills

Previous experience in kitchen and bath industry or design experience would be an asset

Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task

Self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced environment with great attention to detail

Dependable, resourceful, friendly and customer-oriented

Knowledge of Windows-based computer software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• sales: 3 years (preferred)
• Kitchen Cabinet/ renovation: 3 years (preferred)
