About the Role

ESB Design+Build is seeking a hands-on Working Site Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects across Arizona. This role is ideal for a motivated construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values safety and quality, and enjoys leading teams while remaining actively involved in the work.

As the on-site leader, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, supervise, and train construction crews and subcontractors
• Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for workers, managers, and clients
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly tasks, schedules, and manpower
• Ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available and properly managed
• Enforce all safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards
• Monitor project progress, expenses, and budgets
• Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics
• Interpret blueprints and assist with problem-solving on-site
• Maintain equipment and ensure vehicles and machinery are up to date
• Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to leadership and team members
• Foster positive relationships with clients through professional communication

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve effectively
• Experience in commercial construction (preferred)
• Blueprint reading skills (a plus)
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Ability to travel to job sites across Arizona

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 8–10 hour shifts depending on project needs
• Some travel required based on project location

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
