Site Supervisor

Location: Various project sites across Ireland

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Monday - Friday

Salary: Competitive and based on experience

Reports to: Operations Director

ACEL Energy is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of commercial solar PV and energy efficiency projects across various locations. As a growing Irish renewable energy provider, ACEL Energy works with commercial and industrial clients across Ireland to deliver practical, low-carbon solutions. The Site Supervisor will play a central role in ensuring our projects are delivered to a high standard – safely, on time, and within budget

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations across renewable energy installations including ground-mount and rooftop solar PV systems and battery projects.
• Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, and workforce scheduling
• Ensure works comply with design specifications, building regulations, health & safety protocols, and project timelines
• Conduct daily and weekly site inspections, maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout
• Maintain up-to-date site documentation including timesheets, material records and reports
• Work closely with the project manager and wider ACEL Energy team to ensure project progress and site needs are met
• Liaise with external stakeholders including certifiers, utility providers, and client representatives
• Support quality assurance and commissioning procedures ahead of project handover
• Address and resolve any site issues or delays in a proactive and professional manner
• Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure timely delivery of materials to site

Skills & Experience Required

• Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a trade qualification in a related discipline
• Experience as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager within the construction, mechanical/electrical, or renewable energy sectors
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and on-site works efficiently
• Up-to-date Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and other relevant training certifications
• Strong working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Familiarity with quality assurance procedures, construction documentation, and site record-keeping
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to project needs
