We are recruiting Social Care Workers to join a small, bespoke children’s residential service where quality, safety, and meaningful relationships come first. You’ll play a central role in helping children feel safe, understood, and supported, working within a trauma-informed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and support tailored to each child’s needs.
- Build strong, trusting relationships through attachment-aware practice.
- Support children in routines (meals, personal care, school, community).
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies.
- Maintain records, safeguarding notifications, and contribute to care planning.
Requirements
- Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care (CORU registered).
- Experience with children/young people with autism, disability, or behaviours of concern.
- Strong communication, resilience, and understanding of HIQA/TUSLA regulations.
Desirable: Full driving licence, PBS/trauma-informed training, autism practice, de-escalation skills.
