We are looking for an organized individual for our Social Media & Website Management role. Ride the Wind has the strongest presence and influence in today's Ebike industry, so the candidate must research and study our unique approach. We provide an out-of-the-norm, non-conforming way of putting out an array of different content that provides how-tos, reviews, up-to-date info, and just fun content that is the foundation of Ride the Wind Ebikes.

We ship across Canada and the USA, and require daily updates and montitoring of the website. This entails new product uploads, pictures taken or sourced, price changes, new parts, out of stock items etc.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in content editing. Given this unique industry, the candidate can have a varied background and experience, either in admin, marketing, self taught editing or education based knowledge.

This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the willingness to learn, able to take direction and have the drive to create and grow, and a passion for creating social media content. Must have the ability to work under some pressure as it is very fast paced during the busy season. The role can be diverse, and may come with some pivoting responsibilities like additional marketing campaigns, signage, promo designing etc.

Duties

  • Shoot, edit and upload content daily and post to all platforms.
  • Analyze and track what's trending.
  • Create and implement content scheduling
  • Respond to comments on all platforms
  • All Website updates and new products uploaded
  • Monitor supplier price and model changes
  • Facebook Ads-create and schedule
  • Google Ad words
  • Research, study and implement new channels for sales growth.
  • Gain product knowledge of all mobility scooters, electric bicycles, scooters and motorcycles.
  • Collaborate and take direction from the owner to create content.
  • Produce any graphics, forms, or sales material as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service when needed.

Qualifications

  • MacBook proficient.
  • Adobe Editor proficient
  • Proven experience with editing and posting.
  • Exceptional communication.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
