We are looking for a Software Development Manager to join our team building technology for Amazon’s rapid fulfillment businesses for use across the globe. Key job responsibilities You'll lead a team of 12 developers and own the post-order experience for millions of grocery customers world wide. In collaboration with product managers, user experience designers, operational experts, and business leaders you will define and build features to delight customers worldwide. You will work with intelligent and creative engineers to implement these features while ensuring high standards of delivery, operational performance and customer focus. Your responsibilities will include working with new and existing systems. You will have the opportunity to innovate and learn from your successes and your failures.
- Experience delivering products against plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility and often ambiguous environment.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers in a high performance culture, enabling them to achieve more than they thought possible.
- Strong communication skills to drive strategy and direction with partner teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership on opportunities, requirements, designs and development.
- A growth mindset with a drive for constant improvement for you, your team and your customers.
