As part of our pursuit of maintaining high quality, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance to apply your experience to our testing strategy, improve testability, and help deliver great products to our users. We're seeking skilled people with 3+ years of experience in QA to join a professional, innovative, and motivated team committed to building great products in a great environment.
We have a company culture where team members support each other and value working together. You will work closely with our mobile and backend engineers, product managers, and designers to continually enhance a high-impact product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and carry out detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate mobile and web applications functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure robust testing coverage and product reliability.
- Identify and document defects, resolve them, and provide comprehensive reports on testing progress and quality metrics.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after updates or enhancements.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential usability issues that predefined test cases may not cover.
- Validate API integrations by creating and running test scenarios to verify data flow between mobile/web applications and backend services.
- Monitor and analyze user feedback and application crash reports to identify trends and prioritize fixes.
- Ensure testing environments are properly configured and maintained for efficient testing, including setting up emulators, simulators, and physical devices as needed.
- Participate in release planning meetings to provide QA input and ensure app launch or update readiness.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure deliverables meet expected quality standards.
- Contribute to improving the testability and maintainability of our applications by working closely with developers during feature design and implementation.
- Advocate for quality by participating in product discussions and providing insights on testing strategies during feature development.
- Continuously research and implement new QA tools and best practices to enhance our testing framework and processes.
Minumum Qualifications
- It is important to have experience implementing QA testing for iOS, Android, and web applications and an understanding of software quality assurance methods.
- Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans and scenarios explicitly tailored to mobile applications.
- Familiarity with iOS and android and web development tools, debugging techniques, and performance analysis.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages like Swift or Python is a huge plus.
- Experience running test automation on mobile test farms (e.g., AWS Device Farm, Firebase Test Lab, Sauce Labs, or similar) is beneficial.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to share findings and work with teams.
