Software Support Technician

A suburban Rochester company is looking to add a software support technician to install, train, and support our suite of municipal software programs.

Job Type: Full Time, in office hours 7:30-4:30 M-F

Qualifications: Associates Degree or greater with emphasis in math or bookkeeping

Experience in payroll processing or billing software a plus

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability and willingness to learn, to adapt quickly, and to follow procedures
• Ability to present oneself as a professional company representative and mentor customers
• Self-starter with ability to achieve and maintain productivity levels and meet established deadlines

Job Description:

• Provide phone/internet support to clients with varying degrees of knowledge
• Provide remote training and follow-up support to new and current customers
• Implementation of products and custom integration software in a Microsoft Windows environment
• Ability to recognize potential software improvements and enhancements and to communicate and implement the adjustments necessary to programmer
