This role is within Intel’s Client Computing Group. CCG is a computing paradigm where services and data reside in scalable data centers, and those services and data can be accessed by any connected device over the Internet. Responsible for designing and optimizing processors, chipsets and other hardware for consumer devices while also working on the software ecosystem, including drivers and utilities that enhance user experience.

As a Software Technician in the Performance Marketing Lab (PML) you will support of automation tools to understand performance and the creation of datapoints used by for marketing our CPU and GPU products. This position will support Automation Engineering teams' adoption and deployment of automation tools.

As a Software Technician your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Complete multiple testing phases including system, regression, and user acceptance testing, ensuring thorough validation of new automation tools.
• Analyze system requirements and develop test data and plans to ensure the software automation meets team's needs, including both manual and automated test cases.
• Develop and execute test automation scripts for performance benchmarks and workloads, utilizing automated testing practices, frameworks, and tools.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on automation execution for technician team executing broad device and workload testing.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the willingness to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

• High School diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience or AA and 3+ years of experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in python, bash and basic scripting languages
• 2+ years' experience in performance test execution for: Workloads, Benchmarks and Gaming.
• 2+ years’ experience developing and deploying scripts for automation

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $69,650.00-$98,330.00 (Hourly Role)

• Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
