ABOUT THE POSITION
With new and exciting projects coming into our studio, we are seeking a Soundtrack Composer & Sound Designer for our studio located in Dublin, to join us on a short-term contract.
- Compose bespoke music tracks for various aspects of the game (diegetic music, UI music, stingers)
- Apply industry standard adaptive audio techniques for music implementation.
- Develop, document, and prototype efficient pipelines or workflows for music implementation and composition.
- Support the sound design team by creating audio assets that must match the creative aesthetic of the game, such as UI sounds.
- Work with the audio team and audio director on defining the music's design, style, tone, and alignment with project objectives.
- Proven experience as a composer for video games, with a strong portfolio showcasing original music compositions across various genres and styles.
- Experience in sound design for games.
- Must have own virtual instruments.
- Experience with professional DAW and plugins.
- Knowledge of working with Unreal Engine
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience implementing music into a game engine.
- Experience implementing audio assets into a game engine.
- Experience with UE5 and MetaSounds.
