Sourcing Manager, Services job opportunity

To support Normet's continued growth, we are expanding and developing our sourcing team by hiring three new professionals into different sourcing positions. Would you be one of our new colleagues? We want to further improve the performance and responsiveness of our supply chain for Normet Services, and for this position we are looking for a

Sourcing Manager, Services

to develop supply base and supply chain for our spare part business.

The position is preferably based in Iisalmi with an opportunity to use our remote office in Kuopio.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

You develop and manage suppliers in your area of responsibility and are responsible for all commercial negotiations with them. Your focus area is especially spare parts supply, with focus on improving delivery time and availability of certain spare parts. You will also identify possibilities to optimize spare part supply chain for cost improvement, and you will own respective development actions. You will work closely with other sourcing colleagues and our services supply chain team.

To shine in this position, we hope you have:

Sourcing experience in different direct material categories. Hands-on experience in sourcing hydraulic and electric components and related technical know-how is an advantage in this role.
Experience in service business.
Experience in off-highway machine or automotive industry.
Strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
Strong command of procurement processes and negotiation skills.
Excellent capability to work cross-functionally in an international organization.
Good networking and relationship management skills.
Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English language.
Proficiency in ERP (MS D365 F&O), MS Office tools, and modern reporting tools.
Master’s degree in supply chain and logistics or relevant engineering discipline.
