Job Title: Benne Dosa Master
Location: Sulur, Coimbatore

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Benne Dosa Master to join our new Dosa Café in Sulur. The candidate should have strong knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine, especially Benne Dosa and Thatte Idli.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Benne Dosa with consistent taste, texture and quality.
• Prepare dosa batter, including soaking, grinding and fermentation.
• Prepare Thatte Idli batter and soft, consistent Thatte Idli.
• Prepare fresh chutneys, sambar and aloo masala.
• Maintain proper portion sizes and food quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Manage daily preparation and ingredient requirements.
• Maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
• Create and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for batter, dosa, Thatte Idli, chutney, sambar and other menu items.
• Train and guide kitchen helpers to follow the SOPs.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Benne Dosa Master / Dosa Master is preferred.
• Good knowledge of South Indian breakfast preparation.
• Must be skilled in Benne Dosa and Thatte Idli preparation.
• Should be able to independently prepare batter, chutney, sambar and aloo masala.
• Good understanding of hygiene and food safety.
• Candidates who can develop standardized recipes and SOPs will be preferred.
• Experienced candidates and skilled freshers may apply.

Salary

Salary will be based on experience and skill level.
