Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Are you the type who takes ownership, follows tasks through to the finish line, and keeps a cool head even when juggling multiple challenges at once?
If you come with experience as a freight forwarder and enjoy being the one who keeps things moving - solving issues on the spot, securing smooth deliveries, and maintaining strong relationships across stakeholders - then you might be the one we’re looking for.
YOUR TEAM
You will be part of our Flow of Goods Team, which consists of 50 dedicated colleagues. We are divided into six smaller teams, where our team deals with shipments to markets inside the EU as well as NON-EU. Here you will work both independently and as part of a larger team, take responsibility for specific markets, ensuring the highest level of customer service and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
YOUR ROLE
In close collaboration with your colleagues in the team, you take responsibility for handling all shipments and tasks that are non-standard shipments and flows that is outside of our standard setup - when it doesn’t fit, you will solve it.
Your focus will be on coordinating special transports and managing store openings to ensure on-time deliveries, smooth execution, and clear communication with all stakeholders.
The combination of multiple tasks can be challenging, so it is important that you see this as motivation rather than a limitation.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Handling of non-standard shipments, including special transports such as furniture, fixtures, express shipments, and other goods requiring extra attention.
- End-to-end coordination of store openings, including packing, pick-up, transport booking, follow-up, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Maintaining daily contact with brands, country offices, and stores to ensure clear expectations and smooth coordination.
- Requesting quotes from relevant suppliers and ensuring that agreements and deliveries align and run according to plan.
- Following up on shipments with nominated forwarders and proactively acting on potential deviations.
- Supporting colleagues in understanding and navigating internal systems related to non-standard shipments.
YOUR PROFILE
You excel in ensuring a secure, optimized, stable, and reliable flow of goods to our customers. You have a structured and analytical approach to your tasks, ensuring that you always have a solid overview. We work in a high paced environment, so it is important that you thrive in a busy setting and can juggle many tasks without losing track, while also securing the right follow up.
Furthermore, you should:
- Have completed an education as a freight forwarder.
- Have experience taking responsibility for your own markets.
- Be familiar with the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel.
- Be fluent in both Danish and English – written and spoken.
- Experience working with Customs is an advantage but not a must.
YOUR BENEFITS
At BESTSELLER Logistics you can:
- Enjoy a dynamic workday with a variety of tasks.
- Work in a vibrant environment within our fully automated distribution center.
- Contribute to ongoing optimizations of existing processes and procedures.
- Take ownership of your area of work and markets.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU!
