With stunning views out to the impossibly blue waters of the Whitsundays, it is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the island.
The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach)
Description:
About the Role:
- This is a part-time position within the Kitchen - Steward category, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the exceptional guest experience at our stunning island resort. As a Steward, your primary responsibilities will include: Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in all kitchen and dining areas
- Assisting with the preparation and service of food and beverages
- Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils
- Supporting the culinary team with various tasks as needed
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
This role is a live on island position.
Skills and Experiences:
About you:
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks
