Description:
As a Stock Controller at Perfection Fresh Australia, located in Homebush Markets, you will play a crucial role within the Trading Floor department. This permanent full-time position falls under the Operations category and offers an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual to contribute to our dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and overseeing the inventory control system to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock levels
• Monitoring stock movements, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling any discrepancies
• Coordinating with various stakeholders to forecast stock requirements and maintain optimal stock levels
• Implementing efficient stock management processes to minimise waste and losses
• Performing regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Utilising inventory management software to track stock movements and generate reports
• Collaborating with other departments to fulfil stock requests and maintain smooth operations
• Identifying areas for process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance overall efficiency

Skills and Experiences:

• Proven experience as a stock controller or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of inventory management and control procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trading floor environment
• Proficient in using stock management software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Good understanding of supply chain processes and logistics
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording stock movements
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with traders and suppliers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
