Job Summary:

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock levels, receiving and issuing goods, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store or warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records of materials, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or delivery notes.
  • Store materials in designated locations following safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and stock balances.
  • Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requisitions when inventory is low.
  • Issue materials, tools, or equipment as per authorized requests.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and identification of materials.
  • Keep the store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with procurement, finance, and production departments as needed.
  • Prepare inventory reports and assist in audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (a diploma in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred).
  • Proven experience as a store keeper, store clerk, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or inventory software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
